Mintaka STARXG+™ Precision External Measurement of Atmospheric Pressure, Air Temperature & Humidity with GPS & LoRa
The Mintaka STARXG+™ is a companion instrument to the Mintaka STAR-TOUCH™.
It is designed for external use, sheltered in some way, such as by the thermal radiation shield Mintaka GUARDX (sold separately).
- Two independent, high-precision atmospheric pressure sensors
- NIST Tracable air temperature sensor
- NIST Tracable relative humidity sensor
- GPS sensor
- LoRa for wireless communication with the Mintaka STAR-TOUCH™
- Web browser access from computer, tablet or phone
- Power: 2 Akaline C-Cell Batteries
- MintakaCommander (Mac & PC): export & analyze data, provide additional functions, firmware updates, integration with other systems
- Made in the USA
Mintaka GUARDX™ STARXG+™Thermal Shield
The Mintaka GUARDX is a purpose-designed thermal shield that protects the Mintaka STARXG+™ from the elements.
- PVC enclosure
- Stainless steel bracket
- Ships with four stainless steel clamps
- Made in the USA
Mintaka ENet™ Mintaka STAR™ Ethernet Adapter
The Mintaka ENet™ is a companion device to the Mintaka STAR™. It receives weather observation data from the STAR and STARXG instruments and broadcasts this data on a local internet subnet via an Ethernet connection. The broadcast data can then be received by TurboWin+. It addresses the issue where USB ports are not available on the computer that is running TurboWin+, most notably, virtual terminals, which are becoming more common on ships today.
- Power: 7 V DC via AC adaptor 90-264 V AC, USB On-The-Go full-speed device and host via USB micro-AB connector
- Ethernet compliant with IEEE-802.3-2002 10M/100M
- MintakaCommander (Mac & PC): export & analyze data, provide additional functions, firmware updates, integration with other systems
